What's more classic than a can of Coca-Cola?
Maybe I can make a case for this new Ninja Creami recipe: Cola ice cream!
There's nothing I crave more on a hot day than a big bowl of ice cream. Something that I love to pair it with is a Coke (on special occasions as I try not to drink my sugar since I eat so much of it).
When I was younger, one of my favorite treats was an Icee from the spinning machine. There were the typical flavors of blue raspberry and cherry, and then there was Coca-Cola.
While the fruity flavors were always good, there was just something so special and delicious about have a Coke Icee. The flavor of soda mixed into a frozen treat? Sign me up!
When our local Bed, Bath & Beyond store was going out of business, Alex and I went to see what we could score for a good deal. One of the items they sell is a Soda Stream with multiple flavor options.
We found a bottle of Cola flavoring and knew it would make a perfect Cola ice cream.
Sadly, we only got the flavoring for 20% off since they weren't accepting coupons, but it was still a good deal to score a new Creami ice cream idea!
In order to make this tasty Cola ice cream, we used the above mentioned Soda Stream flavoring. It can be found at stores like Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target, or online!
If you're a Coca-Cola lover and want to turn it into an amazing creamy treat, look no further than this Ninja Creami ice cream recipe!
So grab some Cola Soda Stream syrup, a Ninja Creami pint, and get spinning!
While the Ninja Creami is a machine with only 7 (or 11) buttons, it can still be intimidating! Here are a few tips and tricks Alex and I have picked up since beginning our ice cream journey with the Ninja Creami!

Cola ice cream uses Soda Stream syrup for a flavorful Cola ice cream that tastes like the perfect Coca-Cola frozen treat!
To make this recipe in the Ninja Creami Deluxe, multiply all ingredients by 1.5
Note: 1 serving = 1 pint
Place 1 tbsp cream cheese in a medium bowl and microwave for 5-10 seconds. If the cream cheese was in the fridge, these 5-10 seconds in the microwave will help soften it up to mix well with the other ingredients.
Combine cream cheese with 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 tbsp Soda Stream Cola syrup, and 1/3 cup granulated sugar. Whisk until the ingredients are mixed together.
Slowly whisk in 1 cup whole milk and 3/4 cup heavy cream.
Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, ensuring it does not go over the max fill line.
Freeze the pint for 24 hours, ensuring it is placed on a flat surface in the freezer.
After 24 hours, remove the pint from the freezer, and plug in your Ninja Creami machine! Time for the magic.
Remove the lid from the pint and grab the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Place the pint securely into the outer bowl and cover with the lid. Once the lid is on, place the outer bowl into the machine, twisting to the right until it locks into place. Press the "Ice Cream" button and (try to) wait patiently for the creamy treat coming your way.
Once the process is finished, press and hold the button on the left side of the Creami to twist the bowl to the left and remove it from the machine. Twist the lid off of the outer bowl and remove the pint.
Now your Cola ice cream is ready to enjoy!
