You've probably tried making protein ice cream from protein shakes and with protein powders, but have you tried making it from Greek yogurt?
With only three ingredients, you can have a protein-packed pint of frozen yogurt straight from the Ninja Creami!
I have to confess, I'm not a big yogurt fan. No matter how much I try, I can't get myself to eat yogurt (regardless of how much granola or fruit I pack on top).
That's why you have to believe me when I say this frozen yogurt is delicious! It should be tried by yogurt eaters and non-yogurt eaters alike. The taste does have a hint of that "yogurt-y" taste (you know the taste I mean), but it's so faint you barely notice it.
To make my frozen yogurt, I used Too Good Vanilla Low Fat Greek Yogurt. Honestly, it was just what I found on sale at my local grocery store. However, you could use any Greek yogurt! Whole, low-fat, low sugar - any of these will work.
My absolute favorite part of this Ninja Creami recipe is that it's only three ingredients. Plus, I already had them all on hand!
So if you're looking for a new protein-packed treat, grab some Greek yogurt, a Ninja Creami pint, and get spinning!
While the Ninja Creami is a machine with only 7 (or 11) buttons, it can still be intimidating! Here are a few tips and tricks Alex and I have picked up since beginning our ice cream journey with the Ninja Creami!

This Greek yogurt uses only three ingredients to make a delicious, protein-packed treat! Full of flavor, this is one recipe you don't want to miss!
To make this recipe in the Ninja Creami Deluxe, multiply all ingredients by 1.5
Note: 1 serving = 1 pint
In a bowl, whisk 16 oz vanilla Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp honey, and 1 tsp vanilla bean paste.
Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint, ensuring it does not go past the max fill line.
Freeze the pint for 24 hours, making sure it is placed on a flat surface in the freezer.
After 24 hours, remove the pint from the freezer, and plug in your Ninja Creami machine! Time for the magic.
Remove the lid from the pint and grab the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Place the pint securely into the outer bowl and cover with the lid. Once the lid is on, place the outer bowl into the machine, twisting to the right until it locks into place. Press the "Lite Ice Cream" button and (try to) wait patiently for the creamy treat coming your way.
Once the process is finished, press and hold the button on the left side of the Creami to twist the bowl to the left and remove it from the machine. Twist the lid off of the outer bowl and remove the pint.
If the ice cream came out crumbly, add 1 tbsp of milk (any type will work) and re-spin on the Re-Spin function. Repeat this process until you achieve the desired level of creaminess!
Now your frozen yogurt is ready to enjoy!
