Where are my pepper people at? This peach habanero ice cream is for you!
If you're looking for the perfect blend of spicy and sweet, look no further than this Ninja Creami ice cream recipe. The sweetness of the peaches mixed with the spice of the habanero makes for a great combination!
Before you say it's a strange flavor, I know. There's actually a few places that sell peach habanero jam, so it is a well-known flavor combination. But putting habanero peppers into ice cream is weird, strange, unique, you name it.
However, it honestly is one of the coolest ice creams I've ever tried. This flavor has the taste, and it's truly an experience eating this ice cream.
My internal spice level typically goes from mild to medium (no higher), so we made sure to scrape the seeds out of the habanero peppers before grinding them.
After scraping out the seeds and chopping up the habanero peppers, we used a mortar pestle to grind them. This helped them spread throughout the ice cream without any chunks, and also released a lot of the flavor!
One of the coolest things about this ice cream: the flavor is so unique! The first bite is filled with a small kick from the habanero and a hint of peach, and the second bite is really where the peach kicks in. Every bite is different, and I think it's such a fun treat!
So even if you're not a pepper or spicy treat fan, give this one a try before saying no! Grab some peppers, some peaches, a Ninja Creami pint, and get spinning!

Peach habanero ice cream uses fresh peaches and habanero peppers to create a spicy and sweet combination that will keep you coming back for more!
To make this recipe in the Ninja Creami Deluxe, multiply all ingredients by 1.5
Note: 1 serving = 1 pint
Place 1 tbsp cream cheese in a medium bowl and microwave for 5-10 seconds. If the cream cheese was in the fridge, these 5-10 seconds in the microwave will help soften it up to mix well with the other ingredients.
Combine cream cheese with 1/3 cup granulated sugar. Whisk until the ingredients are mixed together.
In a food processor, puree 2 peaches. Note: peel the peach and cut out the core before processing.
Measure 2/3 cup pureed peaches and whisk into the cream cheese/sugar mixture.
Scrape out the seeds of the 2 habanero peppers and finely chop them.
Use a mortar and pestle to grind the finely chopped habanero pieces. Whisk the habanero "paste" (around 1 1/4 tsp) into the peach/cream cheese/sugar mixture.
Note: You can use a food processor instead of a mortar and pestle to grind up the peppers.
Slowly whisk in 1 cup whole milk and 3/4 cup heavy cream.
Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, ensuring it does not go over the max fill line.
Freeze the pint for 24 hours, ensuring it is placed on a flat surface in the freezer.
After 24 hours, remove the pint from the freezer, and plug in your Ninja Creami machine! Time for the magic.
Remove the lid from the pint and grab the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Place the pint securely into the outer bowl and cover with the lid. Once the lid is on, place the outer bowl into the machine, twisting to the right until it locks into place. Press the "Ice Cream" button and (try to) wait patiently for the creamy treat coming your way.
Once the process is finished, press and hold the button on the left side of the Creami to twist the bowl to the left and remove it from the machine. Twist the lid off of the outer bowl and remove the pint.
Now your peach habanero ice cream is ready to enjoy!
