Raise your hand if you like easy dessert recipes?
I hope all of you raised your hands, because easy sugary goodness is always best.
Raspberry sorbet is a simple, two ingredient Ninja Creami sorbet that takes only a few minutes to put together and is one of the best sorbets I’ve had yet. The sorbet is sour and holds true to the raspberry flavor throughout the entire pint!
There is something so refreshing about having a nice fruity dessert to end the day. Strawberry sorbet is a classic first choice when thinking about what to make, but I think this raspberry sorbet might become my new go-to sorbet.
My favorite way of deciding what new flavors to make is to see what’s on sale at my local grocery stores. This week, there was a huge sale on raspberries, so you bet I bought five pints.
Besides the fact that I like to have a handful on my morning oatmeal each day, I figured fresh raspberry sorbet might be something that I needed to try. And boy was I right.
The best part about this sorbet recipe is that it only takes raspberries, sugar, and five minutes to make (besides the long and grueling 24 hour wait while freezing).
Even if you don’t have any fresh raspberries on hand (or on major sale near you), you can use frozen raspberries! Since this recipe requires pureeing, it’s important that the raspberries have thawed before putting them in the food processor. This should only take a bit of time, and the result is well worth the wait!
So if you love all things delicious, grab some raspberries, a Ninja Creami pint, and get spinning!
First Time Using the Ninja Creami or Looking for Tips?
While the Ninja Creami is a machine with only 7 (or 11) buttons, it can still be intimidating! Here are a few tips and tricks Alex and I have picked up since beginning our ice cream journey with the Ninja Creami!
- Can I use frozen raspberries? Sure! This recipe requires pureeing the raspberries, so just make sure they are thawed before using them!
- What should I do if my sorbet comes out crumbly after the first spin? I recommend adding a tablespoon of milk (any type will work) and re-spinning on Re-Spin. Repeat this process until you achieve the desired level of creaminess!
- What button should I use to spin my sorbet? I recommend the “Sorbet” button (naturally). Since this mixture is almost all fruit, the sorbet setting will be the best option!
- Do I need to re-spin my sorbet if I freeze it after spinning? I found the perfect way to enjoy sorbet another time is to let it sit on the counter for about 15 minutes, no spinning required. The wait is difficult, but it’s worth it!

Ninja Creami Raspberry Sorbet
Description
Raspberry sorbet uses fresh raspberries and a bit of sugar to create a creamy and delicious treat that is perfect for anytime of year!
To make this recipe in the Ninja Creami Deluxe, multiply all ingredients by 1.5
Note: 1 serving = 1 pint
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Using a food processor or a blender, puree 4 1/2 cups fresh raspberries.
-
Mix 1/4 cup granulated sugar into the pureed raspberries.
-
Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint, ensuring it does not go past the max fill line.
-
Freeze the pint for 24 hours, making sure it is placed on a flat surface in the freezer.
-
After 24 hours, remove the pint from the freezer, and plug in your Ninja Creami machine! Time for the magic.
Remove the lid from the pint and grab the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Place the pint securely into the outer bowl and cover with the lid. Once the lid is on, place the outer bowl into the machine, twisting to the right until it locks into place. Press the "Sorbet" button and (try to) wait patiently for the creamy treat coming your way.
-
Once the process is finished, press and hold the button on the left side of the Creami to twist the bowl to the left and remove it from the machine. Twist the lid off of the outer bowl and remove the pint.
-
Now your raspberry sorbet is ready to enjoy!

If you don't like following recipes, don't worry - you can customize it however you want! We personally use oat milk and coconut cream to avoid most of the dairy, and it's some of the best ice cream we've ever had.

Can you make this with maple syrup instead?
If you wanted to add maple syrup as a sweetener I think that would work! Maybe start with 2 tbsp and see how the flavor is.
Thanks. Did you have the recipe with the coconut cream on here?
It’s in the substitutions! It’s a few paragraphs in. You can sub 3/4 cup coconut cream for the 3/4 cup heavy cream!
