What’s better than a fruity, one-ingredient sorbet recipe? Nothing! That’s why this peach sorbet made with the Ninja Creami should move to the top of your must-try list.

If you’re struggling to come up with recipes, one of my favorite ways to get inspired is to walk the aisles of my local grocery store. You’ll be amazed at what you can put in the Ninja Creami to get a delicious treat!

One of the best sections to scout for ideas in is the canned fruit portion of the store. There are typically a variety of canned fruits in various liquids, and they can be a part of some delicious Creami recipes.

When looking for a canned fruit to use in sorbet, I usually use the fruit in heavy syrup. The heavy syrup provides a better flavor and more sugar to the recipe, meaning the end product is more flavorful than other types of syrup the fruits come in.

Now that summer is right around the corner (I know spring just started, but I like to daydream about what’s ahead), it’s time for fresh fruit desserts to make a comeback! Even though this peach sorbet recipe uses canned fruit, it’s the same idea.

This sorbet recipe takes only a few minutes to put together and the result is bursting with peach flavor!

If the peach sorbet comes out crumbly after the first spin, add a tablespoon of milk (any type) and use the re-spin button! Repeat this process until your sorbet is the desired creamy consistency.

So if you love peaches (or even just like them), grab your Ninja Creami pint and get spinning!

First Time Using the Ninja Creami or Looking for Tips?

While the Ninja Creami is a machine with only 7 (or 11) buttons, it can still be intimidating! Here are a few tips and tricks Alex and I have picked up since beginning our ice cream journey with the Ninja Creami!

  • Can I use fresh peaches? Sure! If you use fresh pairs, make sure they are peeled before pureeing. Also add in some sugar to sweeten the sorbet (I recommend at least 1/4 cup). You may also need some milk (whole, oat, almond, etc.) to make sure it’s creamy! Or just check out this amazing peach ice cream recipe we also made!
  • Do I need to get the peaches in heavy syrup? I recommend the heavy syrup option because it sweetens the sorbet perfectly. If getting a can of peaches in some other type of juice, you may need to add extra sugar to the recipe to ensure it comes out sweet!
  • What should I do if my sorbet comes out crumbly after the first spin? I recommend adding a tablespoon of milk (any type will work) and re-spinning on Re-Spin. Repeat this process until you achieve the desired level of creaminess!
  • What button should I use to spin my sorbet? I recommend the “Sorbet” button (naturally). Since this mixture is almost all fruit, the sorbet setting will be the best option!
  • Do I need to re-spin my sorbet if I freeze it after spinning? I found the perfect way to enjoy sorbet another time is to let it sit on the counter for about 15 minutes, no spinning required. The wait is difficult, but it’s worth it!

Ninja Creami Peach Sorbet

Difficulty: Beginner Prep Time 5 mins Cook Time 5 mins Rest Time 24 hrs Total Time 24 hrs 10 mins
Servings: 1
Best Season: Suitable throughout the year

Description

Peach sorbet is a delicious and creamy treat that uses only a single ingredient and takes only a few minutes to prepare!

To make this recipe in the Ninja Creami Deluxe, multiply all ingredients by 1.5

Note: 1 serving = 1 pint

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Pour a 15 oz can of peach slices in heavy syrup into a food processor.

  2. Pulse for a few seconds until the peaches are pureed.

  3. Pour the pureed peaches into a Ninja Creami pint, ensuring it does not go past the max fill line.

  4. Freeze the pint for 24 hours, making sure it is placed on a flat surface in the freezer.

  5. After 24 hours, remove the pint from the freezer, and plug in your Ninja Creami machine! Time for the magic.

Remove the lid from the pint and grab the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Place the pint securely into the outer bowl and cover with the lid. Once the lid is on, place the outer bowl into the machine, twisting to the right until it locks into place. Press the "Sorbet" button and (try to) wait patiently for the creamy treat coming your way.

  6. Once the process is finished, press and hold the button on the left side of the Creami to twist the bowl to the left and remove it from the machine. Twist the lid off of the outer bowl and remove the pint.

  7. Now your peach sorbet is ready to enjoy!

If you don't like following recipes, don't worry - you can customize it however you want! We personally use oat milk and coconut cream to avoid most of the dairy, and it's some of the best ice cream we've ever had.
